Stealth: The Art of Making Silence

[06/25/13]   We have just started up some kids workshops. First one took place in Volunteer Park. Who has kids that are interested in learning more about movements which builds confidence and teamwork?

Moss Movement Method

It's the driver, not the car.

Your body is more powerful than you give it credit for (even if it's injured, weak or tired).

Analogy: Put an unskilled driver behind a porche and the car will be skittish and slow. Put a seasoned driver behind the wheel of the same car and watch as the true potential is realized. What does this mean in terms of your body?

Well, I'm going to tell you right now whether you believe it or not, that you have a finely tuned high performance machine. It's your brain that guides its movements and determines your beliefs about what you are capable of. Believe you have tight hips, your brain will stop your joints and muscles from moving to a certain range of motion because of fear and unfamiliarity. How do you get the full potential out of your awesome body? Create a new environment of belief and move within it. Believe you have flexible hips and allow for the new rang of motion to happen, don't tense, don't let fear stop you and tighten muscles. Take it slow, "a little more movement each day is the best way".
