Kym taught us so much last night at her ZUM U indoor bike fit workshop! Now we know what body angles we should be looking for when we set up our bikes and how to access our most powerful muscles when we ride (get into those glutes, team!) all while feeling comfortable and efficient in the saddle. A huge thank you to those of you who opted in and to Kym for getting us ready to ride!

Our ZUM U series continues tomorrow with Kym Belden. Kym will be leading a free workshop on indoor bike fit Wednesday, February 8th at 6:00 pm in the cycling studio.

Have you always wanted to try cycling but have been dissuaded because you're not sure how to set up the bike? Are you new to cycling and have experienced pain or discomfort during your ride? Are you a two-wheeled veteran who wants to get the most out of your indoor pre-season training?

[02/06/17]   It's snowing and beautiful and we are OPEN as usual. Tony will be here to teach Weigh Crazy at 6:30 and yoga is on at 7:00. Any updates to the class schedule will be posted.

TONIGHT! We're happy to announce that beloved Zum instructor Elia Mrak is back and will be introducing our new ClubZUM Series tonight. Throughout the year we'll offer different types of dance classes (think swing, tango, hip hop) and then practice our new skills at a social dance party.

Join Elia Friday nights in February from 6:15pm - 7:30pm to explore the basics of salsa and Latin rhythm through exercise and fitness. You'll learn basic steps and foot-patterns, get an awesome cardio workout, and have fun dancing in a non-intimidating environment. (That kind of sounds like zumba, but zumba this is not.) Drop in for one class for $15 or commit to all three for $40. (Cash or check only paid directly to Elia.) Also, no partners necessary - please don't let that stop you from opting in.

On Friday the 24th, ClubZUM will culminate in a free social dance party from 6:30pm - 8pm! This will be an opportunity to gather our ZUM community and practice your salsa skills whether you've taken Salsa 101 or not - all members and guests are welcome!

Some much-deserved oohh’s and oh my gods’s at the Seattle Squash Open 2017. ZUM Fitness member Zane McGee-Lowdermilk won the Men’s 6.0. Congratulations, Zane!
